IMAGE PEOPLE is proud to join Fabrik Media as the Official Media Production Partner for the second year in a row to celebrate independent artists and photographers. Fabrik’s two signature shows Photo Independent and Fabrik Expo partnered with the Los Angeles Festival of Photography to create a new guest experience called SPRING ART WEEK. Spring Art Week was held at The Reef in Downtown Los Angeles and created an exciting environment where artists, photographers and art connoisseurs could learn about, appreciate and purchase a wide array of work from its international event participants.
Tara Hensen Interviews Chris Davies (Event Founder) & Roger Ballen
We had the distinct opportunity to interview a series of VIP guests, sponsors and exhibitors such as celebrity photographer, Roger Ballen. Ballen hosted the fine art photography workshop, keynote speech and a book signing of his latest work. Ballen spoke to us about his life long passion for photography and how the art of taking pictures has been a long standing tradition in his family. For the last 35 years, he has been living in South Africa and his work is greatly influenced by this environment and culture there.
